I was living a life chasing the love and acceptance from the wrong people and it may have taken me over 25 years to realize that, but it's just the start of my story. (...and yours too!)

My Time to Talk is a community that not only understands mental health but also welcomes it and hopes to provide a relatable space for real life people to connect on real life struggles. Life is real and while we always hear the phrase "it takes a village" -- some of us don't have a village.

I want My Time to Talk to be the village.

You’re NOT Alone.

It's easier said then done when hearing the "it takes a village" phrase. Some of us don't have the love and support from a birth family, some are single parents, some may be uncomfortable in social settings and find themselves physically and mentally feeling alone. If you don't physically have the village -- who do you turn to? Seeking professional help can be intimidating! I personally get severe anxiety in medical environments, even a therapist office.

I'll admit first hand: social media can be toxic as HE11.

Social Media can also bring so much good when used cautiously -- and maturely. I truly didn't understand the power of social media until this year when I dived deeper into all social media has to offer. I started joining live rooms and was connecting with the host and other viewers; connecting with people across the world. I started going live myself and would host my own rooms and the amount of genuine connections I was building and connecting with total strangers about real life experiences was unheard of for me.

I was connecting with real life people, real life women, real life mamas out in the world experiencing real life moments and we all had something in common -- we wanted our time to talk.
